Our Story

The Miami University Student Chapter of EWB-USA is a group of students dedicated to incorporating classroom learning into sustainable solutions for the communities with whom we partner.

We provide engineering services through our volunteer chapter members to implement the infrastructure necessary to meet basic human needs. Through our sustainable engineering projects, we strive to improve quality of life in the communities we partner with.

As a whole, EWB-USA is involved in 389 development programs in 47 countries. From the initial blueprint to the boots-on-the ground work, EWB-USA has impacted more than 2.5 million lives.

EWB-USA Miami University is a student chapter located in Oxford, Ohio at Miami University. Our chapter is dedicated to not only empowering the communities we partner with, but also our student members, who gain experience in leadership, project management, sustainability, cultural competency, and team work through their EWB-USA Miami University involvement.

Our chapter strives to not only maintain a strong international presence, but also a thriving relationship with local communities.
